When is Oregon Startup Week?

Oregon Startup Week will take place May 10 - 16, 2027.
Where will most of OSW events take place?

While many events are community run in which they will be held all over the state, a majority of events will take place in Big Pink in Portland, OR.
Who organizes OSW?

Most of the events are scheduled and managed by the team at UpStart Collective in Portland, OR.
When will event submissions open?

Submissions for events will open the first week of November 2026.
Is there a cost to attend Oregon Startup Week events?

While we ask that the organizers of the individual events during OSW not charge their attendees, it’s ultimately their decision. All events hosted at Big Pink will be free to attend.
As an organizer, can I raise sponsorship dollars for my event?

Yes! If you’d like to put together an event as part of OSW, you are more than welcome to raise sponsorship dollars. You cannot, however, represent that you are part of the core organizing team for Oregon Startup Week. Please check with Josh Carter (josh@upstartcollective.org) for details about how you can position your event to sponsors.
Do you have a Code of Conduct?

Yes! We have adopted PIE’s Code of Conduct.
I’m not sure what kind of event I want to host. Can you help?

It depends on the type of event. We can usually help with venue, but most of the event organizers have speakers and the kind of event they’d like to host. If you’d like to talk through an event, feel free to reach out.
We would like to support Oregon Startup Week through a sponsorship. How can we do that?
